For our family, this Sweet 16 is more than just a birthday party, it is a celebration of love, family, tradition, and the beautiful young woman Alayna is becoming.

Inspired by the elegance and traditions of a quinceañera, this evening honors an important milestone in her life as she transitions into young adulthood. Throughout the celebration, you’ll experience meaningful traditions, special dances, and moments that reflect the importance of family, faith, and culture.

As a proud Puerto Rican family, we are honored to incorporate elements of our heritage into this special day. Every tradition, dance, and ceremony has been thoughtfully chosen to celebrate not only Alayna’s 16th birthday, but also the love, strength, and values that have shaped her journey.

Where is the venue?

RHYTHM AND SMOOTH located on the SECOND FLOOR of the Cambridge Oaks Plaza. There are stairs on either side, and an elevator in the middle. The address is:

When is the Event?

The event takes place on AUGUST 15, 2026 and guests are requested to arrive at 4:15pm EST.

Is Parking Available?

Yes, parking is available in the plaza.

What is the Dress Code?

Semi-formal / Elegant attire.

Cocktail dresses and other elegant dresses, dress shirts, suits, tuxes, dress shoes are the code.

NO casual, everyday clothes. That means no t-shirts, athletic wear, athleisure, jeans, nor sneakers. NO red.

Is there an Itinerary?

First and foremost - just have fun! We do have a few of the major moments planned, fusing a sweet sixteen with some of the structure of a quinceañera.

There will be a Grand Entrance, Opening Prayer, Tribute Video, Crown & Shoe Ceremony, 16 Roses Ceremony, Court Dance, Alayna & Her Escort Dance, Grandfather & Granddaughter Dance, Dinner of course, Toasts & Speeches, Cake Cutting.

Should I Bring Anything?

Just your amazing self! But seriously, if you need any ideas on what to get, Alayna has made a wishlist.

Can I bring a Guest?

You must RSVP with all guests attending so that we may ensure we can accomodate everyone. Ensure that they abide by all of the requests we've made regarding the event - including dress code - as they apply to all attendees.
